Pricing

You pay for trucks, not seats

Per-seat pricing punishes you for letting the right person see the right screen. So we don't do it. Every tier includes unlimited users — dispatch, accounting, drivers, your bookkeeper and you.

Talk to us

The rate comes down as the fleet goes up

Per-truck pricing that never moves punishes the carriers who bring the most volume. Ours moves. The bands, on every plan:

  • Up to 25 trucks — list
  • 26 to 75 — 10% off list
  • 76 to 200 — 18% off list
  • Over 200 — quoted on your operation, and we will not be the reason you stay where you are

You will get a firm number for your fleet on the demo call, in writing, before anything is signed. No per-seat charges at any size.

Price it yourself, before you talk to us

Every plan is priced per truck. No email address, no form, no “contact us for pricing”. Over 200 trucks it says so rather than guessing — that one we quote properly.

Pricing questions

Before you ask

What counts as a truck?

A power unit active in the system for that billing month. Trailers, dollies and other equipment don't count toward your bill, and a truck you park mid-month gets prorated off.

What if my fleet size swings seasonally?

Your bill follows it. Trucks added mid-month are prorated, trucks removed come off at the next cycle. There's no minimum truck count on Core and Fleet, and no penalty for scaling down in a slow quarter — though per-truck plans do carry a $100 monthly minimum, which is what a one, two or three truck operation pays.

Is there a minimum?

Yes — $100 a month. Below about three trucks the per-truck rate works out under that, so the minimum is what you'd pay. Nothing is cut down at that price: unlimited users, migration, onboarding and support are all still included, and you can still leave with thirty days' notice.

Is USPS work charged as an add-on?

No. There are no module fees, add-ons or feature surcharges anywhere in Vektra — USPS contract and trip management, frequency codes, permits and compliance reporting are simply what the Specialized plan is, at $38 a truck. You could argue that work scales with contracts rather than trucks, and you'd have a point; we'd rather absorb that than start billing you two different ways for one system.

What's the difference between Fleet and Specialized?

Four dollars a truck, and everything USPS HCR or a permit-heavy operation needs on top: contract and trip management, frequency codes and holiday rules, permit tracking and the compliance reporting that goes with it. If you don't run contract routes or oversize, Fleet is the right plan and Specialized would just be paying for screens you'd never open.

Is there a discount for paying annually?

Yes — around 10%, and the estimator above shows it. We'd still rather earn the renewal every month, so annual is an option and never a requirement.

What does onboarding actually involve?

We move your customers, lanes, equipment, driver records and open loads across, agree upfront on how much history comes with them, and run your team through the workflows they'll actually use. It's included, and you get a named contact rather than a ticket queue.

What's the catch with being early?

Fair question. Vektra is a young platform — some integrations are still being built, and you'll occasionally hit something we haven't finished. In exchange, founding carriers get direct access to the person building it and real influence over the roadmap. If that trade doesn't suit your operation right now, we'll tell you honestly on the call.
